Courageous Conversations for Teams
Purpose
To enable teams to connect on a deeper, more human level. Then, to communicate more effectively so they can on with doing more work that matters.
What is it?
This is not an off-the-shelf product that I copy and past and roll out for everyone, this is bespoke. I’ll work closely with you to understand your context, your needs, your people and design a workshop specifically for you. It can be a half day, a full day, it could be a week long expedition… I’ll design something that meets needs you didn’t even know you had.
Who is it for?
It's for people who care deeply about their work and each other but find themselves stuck in patterns of disconnection, conflict and dysfunctional communication. For teams who believe in what's possible when everyone connects, speaks and listens with their heart. This is for teams who have done other workshops and are ready now to go deeper.
How it Works
First thing we’ll do is have a conversation. I want to understand you, your team, your context and your biggest challenges right now.
I’ll share some proposals as to how we might address those challenges. We’ll co-create a transformational experience, it’ll be fun.
We’ll then bring it to life. This could be at your workplace, it could be in a park, a restaurant, in nature, in another country…
Whatever we create will most likely incorporate:
NVC and conscious communication strategies for expressing needs clearly and building genuine connections.
Compassionate enquiry methods to identify and address dysfunctional communication patterns.
Real world practice with your team's actual challenges - there won’t be a workbook or notes to take but you will experience something quite profound.
Role-playing and problem solving in real time with frameworks you'll implement immediately having experienced how they work.
Practical and sustainable tools you’ll embed and implement moving forward. If you want frameworks, I’ve got ‘em.

Practical strategies for addressing psychosocial risk hazards - I’ll share context specific methods to nurture an environment where people’s fundamental needs for psychological safety are met.
Conversation skills for tough moments - I’ll show you how to have courageous conversations without unnecessary conflict and you’ll practice it in real time.
Generative feedback skills and strategies - Skills for giving and receiving feedback that actually makes a meaningful difference.
Your team will trust themselves and each other more - We’ll implement methods that build authentic connections and lasting trust.
Emotional awareness skills - Understanding how emotions affect team dynamics and how to navigate them.

We begin with a conversation. It’s not an interview or a sales pitch, however we do need to see if we’re a good fit to work together. My approach is not suited to every team so let’s have an honest conversation about this, your readiness and expectations. You also need to qualify me to ensure I’m the right person to support you and your team.
Following this initial conversation there is a comprehensive intake process where I’ll understand as much as I can about your current situation and desired outcomes before we begin planning the workshop. We’ll then work closely to plan and prepare to ensure this is an extraordinary experience for you and your people.
